Buying a gym membership, training each muscle group once weekly and injesting a couple of protein shakes is unfortunately not the way to cut the mustard if you want to get ripped.

From this article, you will train some very simple steps to reach your muscle gain goals on how to get ripped.

The squatting and dead lifting are the two of three exercises known through the industry for getting muscle gain. Believe it or not, these two core exercises work around 75% of your muscle group. Please think about the following case.

If this week e.g. you lift 135 pounds for 4 sets of 8 and last week you were only bench pressing 125 pounds at 4 sets of 8, and lets say your rest period were precisely 50 seconds between sets. I would say good effort and congratulations!. You have obviously had progression with a significant development. Lets say this week to. Instead of 30 seconds rest, lets make it 60 seconds rest between sets. When your muscles get more time to recover, the result won’t be as impressive as when you have taken shorter breaks. Something to think about for sure as you learn how to become ripped.

With summer on the way it’s time to kick back and relax at the beach or just hang out in the sun. This means it’s time to showcase the body you have spent months in the gym working out. If you want to be noticed and appreciated for all the hard work you put into building your body and want people to ask how to get ripped then it will help if you aren’t flabby and soft around the middle. It’s time to shift into “ripped” mode.

Most people, when asked will tell you that you must lower the weight you lift and increase the reps in order to get ripped fast.

You have to eliminate simple sugars and saturated fats and learn to eat healthy foods like carbohydrates that have a low glycemic level. At least 5 or 6 times a day it’s important to consume high quality protein. 30 grams of protein is the most for any one meal because our body can’t handle anymore than that amount, it will just get wasted. Also make sure that you drink plenty of water to hydrate and lubricate your muscles and connecting tissues. It’s all about the diet……I love my muscle building diet

2) Start doing your cardio workouts differently.

The age old ways to doing cardio for 30 to 40 minutes using a constant light intensity is over with. Shorter and more intense cardio workouts are the key to getting ripped and keeping all of the muscle you worked so hard to gain. Stop doing the elliptical machine and start doing some wind sprints, have you ever seen a skinny sprinter? This is a proven way to increase your metabolism and continue burning fat while you are resting.

A good cardio workout should include 3 to 5 super high intensity sessions each week until you get the level of definition you are looking for.

It couldn’t get any easier than that!. Do you want to know how to really get ripped? Don’t worry about using high reps and lightweight and start worrying about your diet and the intensity level of your cardio training. It is a fool who keeps doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
